Would I be a maniac to dress my son in these?
Was that one too many Flashdance references? Alrighty then.
They seem like a good idea. Diaper changes without fumbling with snaps or zippers. Added warmth with the winter season fast approaching. Cute color combinations and textile options. Not to mention we could avoid rug burn when Nate becomes more mobile. They grow with your baby so you can get use out of them for years. They are $12 a pop but then again, I wouldn't have to invest so much into pants that he can only wear for a month or two before he's onto the next size. And lest we forget, there's always Ebay.
DH believes that leg warmers on someone of the male variety would surely influence his sexual orientation in the future. I say no way. Naturally, I'd be avoiding any shades resembling cotton candy or watermelon. So, the jury's still out.
Your thoughts, as always, are warmly accepted.

Funny enough, I've been thinking about getting these for Lemy. I think they would come in very handy when she starts crawling and moving more as we have hardwood floors and no carpeting. Plus you're right, it would be a lot easier than having to deal with pants.
Personally, I like them and will probably get them. But I can't promise I won't be following her around and serenading her with "Maniac" every time she wears them! :P
They are awesome...go to Target...they carry them now...well worth it...Jols only has one pair but I'm hoping to get some for her birthday...they are really coming in handy these days since she is an army crawler :)~
we have a pair.i posted a picture wiyh him wearing them. (its the halloween pumkin pictutre) i love them for all the reasons you listed target sells a pair for $3-$5
I swear you and I have the same shopping list. Look at Jax's Christmas wishlist on my blog...there are 4 pairs of Baby Legs I want to get him. I got the idea from luv2knit on FF. Her son Jack is always wearing them. Target has them online but I went into the store today and couldn't find them. :(
Ironically-- I have a friend who used those so that she could dress her daughter up for Halloween as an 80's dance instructor :)
oh girl. I'm a hugE fan of the babylegs. They are just so stinking cute..
DH on the other hand HATES them... of course.
My daughter (4 months) wears them and loves them, and all the baby's in my moms group (including boys!) Makes diaper changes super easy when all they wear is the babylegs and a onesie!
-erika (a lurker with a baby almost the exact same age!!)
We use them all the time on my tiny guy. We EC/cloth diaper backup and life is so easy. And they are cute. I think we have around 10 pairs. We always get compliments on how cute they are. Plus he is too long and skinny to keep pants up anyway. My favourites are Banana Blue.
Ugh, now I have Maniac stuck in my head!
You've inspired me to do a babylegs post on my blog now lol.
